Do you know that God is the master of the universe because he is the creator of the universe?(Genesis 1:1 ,Colossians 1:16).

The Bible explains that the Peace of Mind of every human being is in God alone (Acts 17:28). Whether we choose to believe this truth or ignore it, the reality is that there is nothing we can achieve independently of God. Everything we are or can do is because God allows it (Matthew 5:45).

There are people we encounter in our daily lives who seem to be genuinely happy. Some of these individuals are celebrities, while others are family members, coworkers, or even strangers we see on the street. They appear to lead happier lives than we do, which may sometimes be true. Additionally, many of these individuals may not be living righteously yet still experience joy in their lives, while we do not.

It’s important to understand that for those whom God loves, He does not allow them to follow their own desires without consequence. As the Bible states, “God chastises whom He loves.” (Hebrews 12:6)  He disciplines us, and part of this discipline may manifest as struggles with mental health. This is not merely a form of punishment; it serves as a wake-up call, especially for Christians who have once experienced the goodness and sweetness of God’s love but have strayed into sin and embraced the ways of the world. In His wisdom, God allows mental health challenges to prompt these individuals to return to Him and His love.

Therefore, to maintain good mental health, it’s important to adhere to the principles found in the Word of God. Avoid relying solely on what the world teaches, as it can lead you to thoughts and behaviors that may negatively impact your mental well-being.

If you feel the need to see a therapist or require medication, that is completely acceptable; however, whether you are in that position or not, I encourage you to embrace the teachings of the Word of God. Doing so can help you find the joy, comfort, and happiness you are seeking.
